We contribute to society through our business activities and proactive efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations.
Reflecting the perspectives of our corporate clients, we deliver expertise accumulated through planning and development, operation, and management of businesses in the spheres of real estate and renewable energy. We also contribute to quality asset development through the construction business.
We provide support in areas ranging from the development of real estate strategies to property acquisition, planning, development, operations and management, and exit strategies. To augment the value of real estate assets, we provide consulting on the effective use of properties, property management (PM), and other services.
We apply our expertise in solar power, battery storage, and geothermal energy to deliver end-to-end solutions across Japan—from planning and design to construction and O&M.
By supporting the adoption of self-consumption and off-site solar systems as well as battery storage, we are committed to building a sustainable and circular society.
We help develop high quality assets through our EPC and construction activities, including construction management (CM). We support clients by drawing on our expertise in construction, electricity, equipment, and civil engineering.
At Intellect, we are seeking land suitable for the development of solar power plants and grid-scale battery storage facilities.
With growing demand from corporate clients for clean, renewable energy, we offer new power purchase models that do not rely on the traditional FIT (Feed-in Tariff) system.
We propose effective solutions for utilizing unused or idle land to generate long-term value through renewable energy.

Renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power are subject to fluctuations in output depending on weather conditions and seasonal factors.
Grid-scale battery storage systems store surplus electricity from the grid and discharge it when needed, allowing for the supply of power back into the grid.
By utilizing these systems, it is possible to participate in electricity markets and generate revenue through strategic energy trading.

For organizations and businesses pursuing decarbonization, we provide comprehensive support—from current-state analysis and renewable energy planning to goal setting and roadmap development. Our goal is to propose the most suitable renewable energy solutions for each client.
At the implementation stage, we leverage our extensive experience in construction management (CM) of renewable energy facilities to help turn your goals into tangible results.

A self-consumption solar power system involves installing solar panels on the rooftops of buildings such as offices, factories, or commercial facilities, and using all the electricity generated on-site.
By reducing the amount of electricity purchased from the grid and utilizing cheaper, self-generated power, businesses can significantly lower their electricity costs.

We make use of expertise and experience with project management. We strive to achieve goals by forming optimal teams for each project, leveraging expertise in fields like real estate, construction, equipment, and civil engineering.
We strive to demonstrate optimal performance at all times. We seek to deliver service that exceeds the expectations of our clients based on an emphasis on the work done in the field and a systematic and efficient approach to activities.
Providing opportunities for local students to learn about energy: Ibaraki Prefecture 2018
The solar power plant for which we handle operations and maintenance hosted educational energy and power generation tours. Students and teachers from a local technical high school participated in these tours, which provided opportunities to deepen knowledge of renewable energy, including the structure of solar power generation systems and the role of storage cells and other equipment. These activities helped to strengthen awareness of issues related to renewable energy and the environment and learn how we are working in this business. We’re committed to continuing to provide learning opportunities as part of efforts to give back to local communities.
Corporate sponsor of Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympic Games: Tokyo 2020
We participated in the 2020 TDM Promotion Project organized by the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympics and Paralympic Games. Intended to provide safe and smooth transport services while ensuring the stability of urban and economic activities, this project addresses the traffic congestion anticipated during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which are expected to draw large numbers of people including spectators from around the world. To help reduce and distribute traffic volumes, we will promote teleworking and staggered commuting times while implementing new work styles and business activities independent of specific times and places.
Responsible for Design CM/Overseas Projects in the Project Division (Fifth year with Company)
I work in design consulting, mainly in construction management (CM). The work involves everything from selecting sites that meet the required conditions to calculating costs and designing facilities—from drafting projects to coordinating overall operations—for building hot spring facilities and similar facilities across Japan. I also work on the TAO project, which involves the construction of the world’s most advanced astronomical observatory in Chile. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime project that gives me a profound sense of satisfaction.
Responsible for Geothermal Energy in the Planning Division (Sixth year with Company)
After studying earth resource systems in college, I joined Intellect because I wanted a job that would involve contributing to the global environment. I’m in charge of planning and technologies for geothermal power projects. My responsibilities include negotiations with and applications to national and local governments and feasibility studies for geothermal power generation in individual regions, starting from the overall project planning stage. One aspect of helping to advance this brand-new field involves constantly seeking to learn new things on one’s own. Through my work, I’m trying to become a leader in this field.
Responsible for O&M in the Energy Management Division (second year with Company)
At Intellect, I’m responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar power plants across Japan. My role is to monitor and manage each site to maximize performance, contributing to the efficient use of renewable energy resources.
Before joining Intellect, I worked in the construction industry, managing site operations and project finances. However, I quickly realized that O&M for solar power plants requires a broader and deeper range of technical knowledge. I’m now working closely with our in-house engineers, learning from their expertise while striving to improve my own skills.
By staying hands-on and continuing to learn every day, I aim to become a professional who can support the future of renewable energy through reliable plant operations.
Our management philosophy
To counter global warming, we need to reduce CO2 emissions and achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), among other targets. While every free society enjoys a diverse range of opinions on the topic, our firm belief is that we must become a recycling-oriented in order to make better use of our limited resources, thereby making it possible to hand down the natural environment to subsequent generations.
Through business activities in real estate and renewable energy, for example, we seek to add value to existing real-estate holdings and create new environmental value for our clients and local communities. To put these business ideals to work in the real world, we pursue construction management (CM), design and construction services among other construction businesses on behalf of our corporate clients.
At each stage of facility planning and development and operations management, we leverage our expertise and technologies to provide services that target business optimization based on the long-term perspective.
Through these activities, we seek to leverage the cycles of the natural world in the creation of new facilities, thus building assets for future generations. In this way, our entire Group works as one to demonstrate its corporate values to the fullest.
